Key points

  • LJH-217's PR #346 ported #310's "Design T" plus twin condensation to the p = 10 bit word, paired with a stronger p = 10 complex supplier.
  • @RohanArun said the bit side (8.017e-4) now sits 1.07% above the complex cap (7.932e-4), so the next gains must come from the complex side.
  • @RohanArun submitted a new best bound of κ = 7.93469326753735e-4.
  • @RohanArun said he is running a fleet on testing completely new designs.

BREAKING: the integer multiplication bound just jumped ~2% in one PR! For hours we were converging on the “wall” optimizing the bit side, but LJH-217’s #346 ported #310’s “Design T” plus twin condensation to the p = 10 bit word, and paired it with a stronger p = 10 complex supplier. The "wall" has switched sides: the bit side (8.017e-4) now sits 1.07% above the complex cap (7.932e-4), so the next gains must come from the complex side. I'm currently running a fleet on testing completely new designs. 🫡 κ = 7.93469326753735e-4 :) Just submitted a new best bound. https://t.co/dCD1x30tAp
