Today, I spoke virtually with Republic of Korea Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy Lee Hyoung-il. I congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Lee on his new role and underscored the importance of the U.S.-Republic of Korea economic and financial relationship. We also discussed shared economic priorities and opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
